Foundation

The Brothers In Arms Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized under the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. The Foundation was created to honor the legacies of fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, in coordination with their families, through community outreach and related activities.

Brothers In Arms Foundation organizes and promotes events for the benefit of one or more charitable organizations that champion our mission. Our mission is to provide funding assistance to existing organizations where the need is significant with an emphasis on educational opportunities and financial assistance for service members, heroic community servants, and their families. The Foundation strives to increase awareness of the selfless acts of the U.S. military and community servants.

The Foundation will use its funds to make gifts to such tax-exempt charitable, religious, educational, or scientific institutions as the members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, in their sole discretion, shall select, consistent with the requirements of Sections 4941 through 4946 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”). The Foundation will place particular emphasis on supporting organizations that provide assistance to active members of the United States military, veterans, and their families as well as community servants. The Foundation may also provide funds to other organizations that have not received tax-exempt status under Code Section 501(c)(3) but whose activities are charitable or educational.
